Job Description

  • Project Business Analysis: conduct thorough business analysis to define project scope and objectives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Identify project requirements by engaging with stakeholders to understand business needs and challenges.
  • Requirements Gathering and Documentation: collect and document comprehensive business and technical requirements through various techniques such as interviews, workshops, focus groups, and surveys. Ensure requirements are clearly articulated, understood, and agreed upon by all stakeholders.
  • RFP Development and Vendor Selection: prepare detailed Request for Proposals (RFPs) for sourcing vendors and solutions that meet project needs. Lead the vendor selection process through objective evaluation and alignment with project requirements and organizational standards.
  • Test Case Development and Review: write and thoroughly review test use cases to cover all functional and non-functional requirements. Ensure test cases are comprehensive, clear, and aligned with project objectives and stakeholder expectations.
  • Testing and UAT Leadership: lead the project testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases, coordinating with stakeholders and the project team to execute test cases and manage testing schedules. Drive issue resolution and re-testing to ensure all criteria are met for successful sign-off and closure.
  • Reporting and Compliance: regularly report on status and progress of business analysis, testing, and overall project health to stakeholders and the PMO. Ensure all activities and documentation are in full compliance with organizational and PMO frameworks, guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the PMO department by providing expertise, ensuring teamwork, and aligning project processes in order to achieve high performance standards related to project delivery and ensure project stakeholders meet established targets and objectives.
  • Provide advice and guidance during RFP development, reviewing and analysing tender documentation to ensure that project requirements and scopes are clear and accurate prior to releasing to prospective vendors.
  • Collaborate with other stakeholders; devise the test objectives, organizational test policies, test strategies and test plans.
  • Prepare effective alignment of project plans to ensure consistency with agreed standards, specifications, and timeline provisions.
  • Assist, when applicable in training project managers at various departments on the project management toolset.
  • Deliver and assist in implementing and executing projects on time and on budget with high standards and measuring risk and issues.

Skills

  • Knowledge of Project Management (principles, policies, procedures, and internal processes)
  • Knowledge of Portfolio and relationship management
  • Knowledge of industry practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
  • 3 to 5 years relevant experience of which 1 year in a Bank or Financial Institute in IT PMO function
  • Valid Driving license
  • English and Arabic speaking preferred
