Job Description

The Trainee Recruiter is an entry-level position designed to provide hands-on experience in all aspects of the recruitment process. This role supports the recruitment team by assisting with sourcing, screening, and coordinating interviews, as well as managing administrative tasks related to recruitment activities. The Trainee Recruiter will gain valuable experience in talent acquisition while contributing to the successful execution of recruitment strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in sourcing and identifying potential candidates for various roles within the company.
  • Support the recruitment team by scheduling interviews and managing candidate communication.
  • Help maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment reports.
  • Learn recruitment best practices and assist in executing recruitment strategies.
  • Provide administrative support for all recruitment-related activities.

Key Result Areas (KRAs) and Key Performance Indicator (KPIs)

  • Candidate Sourcing and Screening:
    • KPI: Source candidates that meet 90% of the required qualifications for assigned roles.
    • KPI: Achieve 85% satisfaction from hiring managers on candidate quality.
    • KPI: Contribute to reducing time-to-hire for entry-level roles by 10%.
  • Recruitment Coordination:
    • KPI: Ensure 100% accuracy in scheduling and coordinating interviews.
    • KPI: Maintain 100% accuracy in updating and managing candidate records.
    • KPI: Achieve 90% satisfaction from the recruitment team for overall support provided.
  • Learning and Development:
    • KPI: Complete assigned tasks with a 95% success rate within deadlines.
    • KPI: Demonstrate a 10% improvement in task efficiency within six months.
    • KPI: Successfully attend and complete training programs on recruitment practices.

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Time management skills to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the recruitment team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 0-1 year of relevant experience in recruitment or administration (internships or volunteer work can be included).
  • Ability to join immediately or within a short notice period.
  • Strong interest in pursuing a career in recruitment and talent acquisition.
