Job Description
The incumbent should be a high-energy change agent, who is passionate and results-oriented with a consultative and analytical mentality. SDMs serve as leaders dedicated to exceptional results and effective management to deliver quality service with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- This unique role requires the ability to position oneself as a true SME; understanding the best technical solution or service, and educating stakeholders on the importance of the proposed solution. The traditional responsibilities of SDM’s also include:
- Direct resources to ensure that all projects are delivered to specification and on-time
- Own internal and external communications, plus identifying when escalation is necessary
- Perform risk management and measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Direct management of projects collaborating with other teams as necessary
- Recommend changes or policies to increase department effectiveness and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or above.
- PMP certification is preferred, but not required
- A strong preference will be given to candidates with FinTech, Banking or Telecom Experience
- Extensive understanding of project management principles, methods, and techniques
- Relative technical background, with a deeper understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
- Must be self-motivated, organized, and analytical; with a proven track record in managing implementation projects
- Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base and technology span
- Capable of rapid technology intake
- Must be able to communicate professionally in verbal and written conversations, and in the production of project documents

- Must be locally available in Doha with a transferable visa
