Qualifications, Experience, and Competencies:
AS/400: ILE RPG/400, ILE CL/400, DB2/400, SQL/400, RPG/400, QUERY/400.
Education: Degree in IT Domain
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 7 years of development experience in the ILERPG,CLLE,CLP,RPG DB2 SP
- Minimum 4 years of experience in EQUATION (FINASTRA)
- Manage the process of designing / developing in AS/400 server using RPG/RPGLE/CL programming language
- Perform debugging and testing of all related code and assist with troubleshooting both development and production issues
- Good understanding of relational database concepts and data-driven systems.
- Strong knowledge of How data structures works/Data Queue/ Query Manager (QMQRY), SDA, RLU
- SQL400,Db2 skills and DB2 SP Using Navigator
- Leads the quality control testing team that performs SIT/UAT testing activities
- Knowledge in software development lifecycle methodology
- Strong verbal and written skills, especially around code documentation
- Ability to work in a team environment, independently, take direction, and follow instructions.
- Develops enhancements and fix core errors encountered during regression testing
Responsibilities
- Develop a new module in the equation using EQUATION API (User exits)
- Support data migration from and integration with source applications
- Understanding the coding structure, application blocks and adapt to standards followed
- Perform initial design reviews and recommend improvements
- Write clear codes and prepare to code documentations
- Debug and troubleshoot the code for issues
- Assist in L2/L3 troubleshooting of Equation
- Participate in the set-up and deployments in all environments including production
- Conduct code reviews, testing and work closely with QA team (where applicable) for SIT and with the business for UAT
- Contribute to the overall enterprise architecture
- Logical analysis & strong in programming skills
- Ensure code reviewed before check-in
- Document all requirements functionally and technically
- Participate in the set-up of test and pilot environment
- Assist team members on application issues.
