Job Description
The Incumbent must have experience in the following:
- Installing new network equipment (hardware/software).
- Prepares a variety of written materials (e.g., work order reports, inventory control, procedures, etc.) to document activities, providing a written reference, and conveying information.
- Attends meetings as assigned to convey and to gather information required to perform functions.
- Undertaking data network fault investigations in local and wide-area environments, using information from multiple sources.
- Reporting customer network operational status by gathering and prioritizing information and managing projects.
- Upgrading customer data network equipment to the latest stable firmware releases.
- To do the configuration of routing and switching equipment.
- To do the configuration of wireless systems and location-based services.
- To collect the required vendor/customer qualifications.
- To help in the pre-sales technical activities (POC’s, Site Survey, assessments….)
- Preparing the Project life cycle documentation (Scope of work, LLD, HLD…)
- To do remote/on-site support.
Job Requirements
- 4 to 6 yrs of IT experience
- 1-2 years of field experience
- CCNA (or equivalent) is a must.
- Hands-on experience in the configuration of routers, switches, and controller-based wireless networks.
- Excellent skills in Visio diagrams.
- Hands-on experience in wireless site survey applications.
- Hands on experience in Network management and monitoring solutions.
- Excellent communication skills.
